Guess what? This is my 500th post! *sheds tears*. I know some people who'd go "why is she shedding tears over something so insignificant anyways?" To tell you the truth, this blog is a very significant figure in my life. To all you followers, (be it officially or unofficially), thanks so much for your support! There were times when I felt like quitting this blog but you guys were the one who made me continue blogging :)

I think it's best if we run through the history (if there's any :P) of my blog. This blog was created 3 years ago, under a different web address. It was A weird address, I know. It was the initials of the 3 writers of the blog. I don't wanna venture very deep into that cause it's only gonna throw me off my course and make me emotional... Anyways, 3 of us blog from time to time, never revealing our identities, just penning down our thoughts.

Then... things happened. Let's spare the details on what happened and how... And the 3 writers was reduced to one. Me. (FYI, I was the 'ZLN'). My initials are actually NA and it looked like the n/a for not available so Z=Zureen, L=Lynnie and N=Nur. It's actually the most common nicknames I have.

After that, the 'your mum reads my blog' tagline started to appear in my blog. It started out as something I end my post with. Just to add a smile on everyone's face. Then, I moved on, tried to get over everything that has happened, and thought it was a bit pointless to be using the address anymore. So that's when I changed my blog address to

At first, I was only blogging for the fun of it. I wanted to keep the memories alive, so I tried to blog whenever time permits. But then, the time came where every night, I'd go to bed with ideas on what I'm gonna write the next day. And as I blog more and more, my readers increased, and so is the attention that my blog's getting.

To tell you the truth, the best thing about blogging is the readers. I've had people from all over emailing me after reading my blog, saying that I'm an inspiration, etc. I never knew my words would have that much of an influence to anyone. I never knew my daily smile would manage to make people smile as well.

So, to all my readers : Thank you!

Pain no more.

“People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.”  -  Jim Morrison

I think the moment I felt liberated was when I stood in front of the mirror in my hotel room and looked at myself, and analyzed everything that I've done throughout my 17+ years of life, and decided that I'm not going to let the brief moment of pain that I'm feeling overshadow every single happy moment that I felt. Not to mention the fact that I have my family and a bunch of great, albeit silly, friends who gave me the strength to push through.

So there I was, wiping off those silly tears and trying to conceal the eyebags that came together with the pain package. And there you go, a smile that (I hope) is bright enough to cheer you up even at your darkest moment. And a sincere look in my eyes that wishes you the best things in life.

I know how hard it is for some people to face the pain, to conquer the challenges, to overcome the rejections in life. And how easy it seems to just end it all right away. But when you are about to take the step towards the end of your life, I really hope you'd think it through. Think about all the pain your parents, your friends, your siblings, your family, your acquaintances would feel if you were to take your own life.

People committing suicide is a topic I'm very sensitive about. I mean, it's kinda obvious by the number of 'save yourself' posts that I write. But seriously though, ultimately, you're the only person who have the power to change your own life. Everyone else can help ease the pain but if you don't want to make it go away, there's nothing they can do.

If you ever do need help, talk to someone. Heck, talk to me! Just... don't do something stupid. Every day I come across news of people committing suicide on the paper and I wonder what the world has turned out to be. And these people, they're youths, teenagers... Kids, even. I hope each of you who're reading this wouldn't be in the front news. Do stay happy. And stay strong. :)

Today I felt my heart break. It's been a while since I last felt this way. It seems like a big piece of my heart chipped away. And there's nothing left except for a vast emptiness. It felt like someone took my soul away. As I'm typing this, I can feel one of the torches that has been lighting up my heart fade away. What I'm seeing is a blurred up world cause by the tears pooling in my eyes. What I'm hearing is my cries, my sorrow. What I'm feeling is my heart slowly closing down, shielding itself from everything else.

I think I'm going back to my poisoned ways. I'm becoming the Lynnie that has feelings so cold her heart freezes up. I'm becoming the Lynnie that has thorns as hair, restraining people from getting near to her.

Of desserts and youths.

So... Today was an okay day. Actually I shouldn't be saying that since today haven't end. Anyways, I went to the Penang Youths HQ just now to meet up with all the other youth leaders and talk about Youth Jam '12. So excited about it :D Oh I almost forgot! If you're a youth in Malaysia, do go to and click 'sign up with facebook'! This will enable you to gain access to various events held in Penang, Perak and KL during the respective Youth Jams. :D

Leena and I after we've finished discussing everything. Was just camwhoring while waiting for my mum :P In case you're wondering, she's like my co-manager. Helping me out with Books For Thought. She's also my wife, fyi. I bet she's gonna kill me for posting this pict of her. Actually it was either this or a very bright smile of hers. LOL. As usual, we chatted about LOTS of stuffs. Gossip, gossip and more gossip! I wonder why every time we meet we'd have lots and lots and lots of things to talk about? Lol we were like non-stop chatting haha.

Then after everything's done mm and I decided to head to Blackball. It was mm's dessert time but it was my lunch! Since I didn't have lunch at all. At this rate I think I could lose weight LOL.
In case you're like Leena and don't know what BlackBall is, it's actually a dessert shop where they sell the traditional chinese tong shui (it literally translates to sugar water but it actually means cold dessert). The thing above is a beeper that'd beep when your order's done. I'm actually pretty sure you've read about this in all the other food blogs out there.

Mine was the A2 one. One of my faves! Can't remember the name but I know it has something to do with Winter Melon :P It's basically winter melon flavored ice topped with taro balls, grass jelly, cincau and red beans.

Mm's. It's the BlackBall Signature (A1). Mm had the cold one but I actually prefer the hot one a LOT more. Cause the hot one tastes a bit more special than the cold one. Anyways, this one is a shaved flavored ice (sorry I don't know what the ice's flavored like) topped with red beans, taro balls, yam cubes and pearls.

I personally think that the milk they provide is one of the key ingredients that makes this dessert nicer. I know a lot of people who don't like it but if mine doesn't have it I don't like it as much. The milk just bring everything together.

I don't really know how to caption this picture. Oh wait! I know! I'll insert one of my fave quotes here. "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well". It sorta rationalize my love for food. :P

If you wonder how mm looks like and where I get my beauty from, there you go! We have like the same lopsided eyes and the same one-dimpled smile, except that mine is the opposite of hers :P Oh we also have moles on our neck that's in the same position but is the opposite of each other. What I'm trying to say is I'm basically a mirror image of her :P

I just noticed how dark my under eyes are. And it's baggy too. And because of that my eyes looks droopier than it should. Urgh. It's time for an eyebag R&R! :P

A sad face. Cause even after finishing a bowl of dessert I'm still hungry. Gosh I need my weekly dose of Laksa asap! My stomach's growling now while I'm typing :P

Oh oh oh oh! I'm going to KL tomorrow. I'm sure if you were to follow my blog you'd go again? Yes, again. I've been going there for three weeks in a row, haven't I? Oh well. A student has got to do what a student has got to do! :D Have a nice weekend everyone! And to all you students out there, happy two-week holiday! XD

Without you.

This is what'd happen if you were to lose a bet to someone : you posting a video of yourself singing horribly for people to see! Seriously though, if you were to want to save your ears, don't even play the video. Not only am I not someone with a good sense of tune, I'm also someone who couldn't remember lyrics well. But then I'm a girl who stands behind my word. And a bet is a bet, so... here goes. My 165845th attempt to mempersiasuikan (in case you're wondering, it means embarrass) myself.

I'm gonna save my breath and not explain why I lost the bet I lost and what the bet was about. Cause my friend and I do stupid things all the time hahahaha.

If you didn't watch the video, good for you! XD If you did, the small side-vid at the bottom right is there to distract you from my voice. I have a lot of free time in my hands so I was like, why don't I take another video that would distract people. And I hope it did distract you for about 30 seconds :P Plus I was fooling around with Nero's video maker and I find this to be a cool thing. Hmmm... Now that I think about it since I have so much time I should venture into the video-making scene, no?

So... it's just a filler post. I don't really know what to post, actually. Makeup tutorials, maybe? But then I don't really know how I should do a makeup tutorial! Hahahaha I'm not really good at makeup so... Everything you saw was just me fooling around since time is what I have in my hands right now. I'll see what I can do :)

Ohohoh in case I sound so bad you don't know what I was singing it was 'Without You' by David Guetta. My friend asked me to choose between this and I'm Yours, and I did a video of myself singing that too but then while I was singing I felt like sneezing so throughout the video I had a weird expression on. Not to mention the vid ended up with me sneezing, forgetting the lyrics and laughing out loud. LOL!

Oh ya this Saturday there's gonna be a meeting for Youth Jam '12, and if you're interested in volunteering on the day of Youth Jam, go to Penang Youth HQ (in case you don't know where it is, it's at Penang Times Square, top floor's carpark) from 1.30-3.00! I'll be there so if you feel like meeting me (hahahahaha) go too! :D

Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara : A YMRMM Giveaway.

So, Maybelline has this line of mascara called Volum' Express, and I recently got the Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara in Black. What they claim is that if you were to apply this mascara, you'd be able to achieve the effect of wearing false eyelashes without having to go through the fuss of applying them. This is because of their Pro-Keratin formula that instantly builds volume without clumping.

Also, their Spoon Brush fans out lashes from corner to corner, and with the flexible wand, lashes are lifted and separated to provide the look of 300% more visible, fuller lashes with no gaps from any angle. As you can see, the brush has lots of bristles, which is great cause every lash gets to be combed through. As for the curved wand, you know how sometimes curved wands could be a hassle cause it's too curved? Well, this mascara is not a hassle at all.

I only apply the mascara on my right eye (which would be the left side of the picture), and I think the difference is quite obvious, especially in the bottom lashes. I didn't have any eyelash curler with me, but my lashes did look thicker and fuller. I'm sure with a curler I could've achieved a 'no-falsies-falsies' look. Anyways, the mascara comes in the waterproof and the washable one. The one I'm using is the waterproof one, and trust me, it IS waterproof. It's also contact-lens safe.

The Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara retails at RM42.90 at all Watsons and Guardians store.

Oh, wait a minute! Of course I couldn't just enjoy the shiok-ness of this mascara myself, right? So, guess what? One lucky reader would stand a chance to win the Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara with just one simple step!

Excited, much? All you have to do is leave a comment on the answer to this question : what does beauty means to you? And that's it! You're automatically in the running to win this fabulous mascara :D Do make sure that I can contact you through the comment you leave (either by leaving a comment with your Google account or include your e-mail address in the comment). And also, I'm sorry to all you international readers out there but this contest is open to Malaysians only.

So, tell me, what does beauty means to you? :)

Being Beautiful - Angles.

{Okay, so I decided to create a whole new section called 'Being Beautiful'. It's basically gonna be a section that contains makeup tutorial and how to make yourself feel and look beautiful.}

If you were to flip through magazines and look at a beauty spread (that uses only one model), I'm sure you'd notice that the models have the same angle 90% of the time. Everyone have their unique angle, and to look good in pictures, you'd have to know what angle do you look best in.

How could you do that, you ask? What you need is a photographer (or if you're like me and is a pro in self-capturing, a camera would be enough). Take a few pictures (make that hundreds :P) of yourself in different angles. You know, from the left, the right, with your head a bit downwards/upwards, and how much of an angle does your head makes with your shoulder...

Anyways, upload those pictures on the computer and study them. The picture with you looking the best would most probably mean the picture with you and your ideal picture-taking angle. Do note that I talked about 'beauty spread' instead of 'fashion spread', which means that I'm only talking about your face. As for your body, let's talk about it some other day, no?

Different angles works with different hairstyles too! If you got a haircut, be sure to check and see if the same angle that worked for you before would work for you now. Also, if you have makeup, that creates a difference too. Having makeup generally means less worrying about angles, etc (providing your makeup includes contouring + highlighting).

So, I was fooling around with my makeup the other day, doing some contouring and some highlighting, determining what lipstick color looks best on my lips, etc. Oh I could also talk about that, no? Great idea for my next post! Haha back to the topic. I took loads of pictures, and here are some examples of how I find my angle.

This is my angle. If you were to browse my blog, you'd notice me having lots of pictures with this angle. There's no particular reason why a picture in an angle is better than a picture in another angle, but why I like this angle (which is my head leaning to the right with my left side angled a bit to the back) is because my left eye is slightly smaller. I know people say I should pose with the left side in front but I find that doing that'd only emphasize the difference in size. And also, before I cut my bangs, it was to the right so...

A picture of me if I were to angle my head to the left. I made-up my eye to make it look as if it wasn't different in size so you can't really see what I'm talking about here. Actually, lighting plays a role too. Because my light is on my left side, in the 1st picture my face looks skinnier cause there's more depth created by the shadows. In this picture my face looks fuller because the light is hitting directly on my face with no shadows to create a slimmer face effect.

IF I have to take a picture from the front (say... taking a group picture where I'm forced to be in the middle) then I'd usually angle my head a bit downwards. If it's a close up I'd usually use my hand as a tool. Taking pictures from the front is generally a bad idea. It enlarges your face, and if a flash is used, all your imperfections could be seen. If you were in a group shot you'd most probably can't angle your head like the two pictures above cause it'd look weird, so a slight angle like this would be great!

And last but not least, my 'I-don't-give-a-damn' pose. Haha. Okay, so sometimes it feels kinda pointless to think about angles, etc. When your picture is being taken and you feel that way, do a crazy face! I mean, then you'd not have to bother about angles cause that's what crazy faces are for. That's why if you were to see my pictures with my friends I'd have a lot of crazy faces. Even when I'm selca-ing a lot of crazy faces will pop out :P

Be confident, be beautiful :)

Great skin? No problem!

A 'naked' me. Of course I'm fully-clothed. It's my face that's naked. Except for my lips. Was fooling around with the RM4 nude-coloured lipstick I bought. Pretty and cheap, will do a review on it soon :) Anyways, I feel like making things clear : I think that makeup's great, but what's better is for someone to feel comfortable with their own skin without makeup.

I must tell you this : I'm not born with great skin. If I were to neglect my skin and not wash it before I sleep, believe me, there'd be a pimple here or there on my face. I think there're people who's born with great skin, but if that someone doesn't preserve it, their skin'd eventually go bad. Same goes for people with bad skin, take care of it, and trust me, it'll be great.

Cleansing is definitely the most important part, and the next step'd (to me, anyways) be moisturizing. Depending on your skin's needs, toners are usually optional. I started this routine ever since I was 10 (I started having my period young :P), and I know some of my friends who still don't have a 'beauty routine'. I think that once you start having your period, you should start using a cleanser and a moisturizer cause that's when pimples'd start to pop out so... Anyways, by having a beauty routine, I don't mean a very elaborate one with serums and essences, etc. But AT LEAST do try to cleanse and moisturize daily.

If you have bad acne problems/sensitive skin, do exfoliate (depending on your skin but I believe that once a week is enough). You can either use a homemade one or buy one that you think suits your skin. I don't really like the skin-peeling exfoliator cause I think it's too harsh, but hey, use what's best for you! I'd use something that's for sensitive skin cause at least it's not as harsh as all the products out there and you'd have less breakouts.

If you have oily skin, DON'T think that scrubbing often is the key to making your skin less oily. It'd instead produce more oil! I oil around my T-zone and whenever I scrub those places would be the place I scrub with the least amount of pressure. And also, don't be afraid to try out different types of cleansers/moisturizers. A good cleanser should be able to clean your oil and NOT dry your skin, while a good moisturizer should not make your skin oilier throughout the day.

For dry skin, moisturizing is the key! Choose a moisturizer that absorbs well into your skin. Also, don't use a harsh cleanser. IF you have dry skin, exfoliate your skin once every fortnight. And, sheet masks/moisturizing masks works great to hydrate your skin too! If your skin is so dry it peels, I'd recommend you to visit a dermatologist. Sometimes there're conditions that cause your skin to dry out and peel, so... :)

If you have acne scars and want them to disappear, I believe exfoliating'd help. Also, don't fret. Concealers are created for a reason :) I know there're acne fading cream but don't think they're that great (I've never used them, but I've read reviews on them before...)

Good luck on your road to great skin! But most of all, confidence is key! Have a nice day, everyone!

Glowing from within.

{Sponsored post.}
As a blogger (especially a selca-loving blogger), having pretty skin is very important. Actually, it's not just pretty skin, it's skin that's glowing from within. Often times, (since it seems like I'm starting to venture to beauty blogging :P), I'm required to take close-up pictures of myself. Take the picture above as an example. It was taken for a review on Maybelline's product. And if you were to scroll through my blog, you'd notice how a lot of them contains close-up of me.

Today's post is not going to be about me rattling on about how important it is to take care of your skin; it's about how important the product you're taking care of your skin is.

With Julian, one of the beauty consultants there. (Do excuse my extremely explicit tee) So a few days ago I went to Gurney P.'s SK-II counter to get my products. Let me talk about how I was treated first. Three words : like a princess :P Well I may be exaggerating, but they were great! She explained everything to me thoroughly, telling me the benefits of the products, how to use them, etc. I know they get commissions from their sales, but there are some counters that have consultants that sucks. I know you've met some :D

I received a Pitera Essence Set which consists of SK-II's Facial Treatment Clear Lotion, Facial Treatment Mask and of course, the holy grail of essences : the Facial Treatment Essence. I also received a Cellumination Essence EX - one of their products that gives a highly defined aura bright skin. So... off to reviewing!

The SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion. 'Containing AHA, this wipe-off clarifying lotion gently removes dirt and dead skin cells to allow skin nourishment. Leaves skin clean, lively and perfectly conditioned.' This lotion is basically a toner.
I was told that at my first use, the pad would most probably be filled with dirt and dead skin cells and I was like 'really? but I cleanse thoroughly everyday!'. So with me being skeptical, I used it as I would a toner and :O was I shocked to see my cotton pad looking all brownish. Bleaurgh. It's normal for first time users to have this effect but of course I was like 'the hell?'. Lol. Though this lotion works great in removing all the dead skin cells, it didn't leave my skin feeling tight at all.

The SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. 'Containing more than 90% Pitera, this much loved miracle water is a must-have for healthy, radiant skin. It helps maintain the skin's natural renewal cycle to its optimum condition to allow skin nourishment. It also works to balance the skin's pH and sebum secretion, so oily and dry areas are properly moisturized.'
Do I really need to say anything more about this? This thing is really great! I mean, at the 3rd day of using it I've seen a huge improvement. How great is that? To think that I didn't discover this thing sooner :P The only thing that puts me off is the smell of the essence. It smells like fermented yeast, and the b.c. did warn me about the smell. I was told it takes a while to get used to, so I guess the smell will grow on me sooner or later :)

The SK-II Facial Treatment Mask. 'This intensive moisture-boosting mask is enriched with Pitera which deeply hydrates skin. Reviving and relaxing, it leaves skin noticeably radiant, soft and crystal clear.'

This mask is great! Talk about a thick, sheet mask that won't easily tear apart when using. Plus, it's soaked with loads of essence to the point where it's dripping :D I know a lot of people hate this but I'm one of those people that loves the feeling of essence dripping down their necks. While the mask itself is soaked with essence, there were still a lot of it left in the packet. So what I did was massage the essence to my whole body (and believe it or not I DID get to cover my whole body with the leftover essence). I left it on for quite a while (30 minutes instead of the usual 15), and my skin was really hydrated afterwards. Not only does it feel hydrated, it looked hydrated! Which was great.

SK-II Cellumination Essence EX. 'The new SK-II Cellumination Essence EX takes a great formula and makes it better with the new Pixel White whitening ingredient. Improve your skin from the cellular level and experience highly defined, aura bright skin in just 4 weeks.'

First of all, let me just say how much I love how the bottle looks! This product is essentially a brightening serum. I tried it a few times to get a feel of it, and what I can say is this serum is quite dense, and two to three drops is enough for the whole face. It doesn't feel oily, and it has a creamy texture (instead of the usual serums which have more of a gel texture). It was absorbed into my skin without making it look like oily at the T-zone. Plus, I love it's smell!

So, that was it. My first experience with a high-end skincare line :) Deep down in my heart I have a sinking feeling I'd be hooked on this line for the rest of my life haha. All this while I have been skeptical about SK-II and it's effectiveness but now after I've experienced it first hand I dare say that the rave about this product is true after all. Do give it a try and be sure to visit SK-II's Facebook Page ( /

/iˈstrānjd/ - No longer close or affectionate to someone; alienated.

' "It hurts so much to see us be this estranged. To see our friendship rotting away. Urgh. I hurts for me to have to rub off the 'U' and leave myself loving no one in particular. Why can't you just stay?" Could I have stayed? Will things be any different than the way it was if I were to stay? I don't think it would. I loved her and yet I've never ever felt her loving me back. What's the point of chasing after something that's busy chasing after something else? At that time, it really seemed like the right time to give up. But now, seeing her like that, I can't help but think : shit! '

Owning it.

I have friends who asked me how I always look pretty in pictures. Well actually there's a secret to that : Photoshop! Lol. Nah I'm just lying. I rarely ever Photoshop my pictures. I only use it if the colour needs adjusting (think over-exposed/under-exposed). But there's one thing I can say that'll lead to a great picture : being confident and owning it.

Take the picture above, for example. It's a one-shot picture, and I (hope) I look like a million bucks here :D Anyways, I could've been wearing the same Gucci sunglasses and the same Guess tee but if I weren't confident enough, this picture would've lacked something. Now that I'm writing this, I think I'm sounding kinda cocky lol. But it's true! Confidence is key to a great first impression AND a great picture! How else are you going to pull off what you're wearing?

I think I'm always mentioning this in my blog. The thing is, my juniors always ask me for 'tips' to be beautiful and whenever I say be confident they'd go "that's easy for you to say". After a while, it gets annoying. I mean, you ask for my advice and I gave it to you. So why don't you take that advice and use it to improve yourself instead of asking me for other ways? And yes, I know you're reading this, which is why I'm writing this down here :P

'There is the risk you cannot afford to take and there is the risk you cannot afford not to take.' Read this quote and thought of the risks I took, the risks I'm taking and the risks I'm going to take. And I can't help but admit that I'm not a risk-taker. I'm certainly not the 'leap-of-faith' kind of person. There're hardly things in my life that's a risk, nor are there any risks I'm taking.

I take chances though. These chances are things that don't contain any risks. A beauty contest participation, an essay competition, a scholarship application. These are things that will bring me joy if I'm chosen, yet it won't bring me any sorrow if I lost. I'm certainly a chance-taker :) I always say 'why not?'. These things gives me a great and fun experience. I remember my mum warning me on not participating things that I won't go all out on and things that I'd be sad if I lost.

So let's go to the main point of this post. This answer I give, is something that I spend the past days thinking. You asked me to give you a chance to steal my heart. I couldn't help but think of it as a risk, and something that'd truly break my heart if I were to lose it. It's true that I can't question matters of the heart, but I could choose to prevent myself from loving you by not giving you a chance from the first place. These happy eyes that you're staring into, I don't want to risk losing it. And you know losing it will be inevitable.

Review : Maybelline HyperSharp Liner

I rarely wear eyeliner, and the ones I have are pencil ones. I've never thought of trying liquid and/or gel eyeliners because I couldn't imagine the hustle of it being smeared, etc. I'm also skeptical cause my mum bought a liquid eyeliner from Max Factor and it dried out before she even got the chance to use it. Pfft. But then I thought : why not give it a try? So I went to Watsons and grab the Maybelline HyperSharp Liner.

The tip. It's a bit short for my liking. I don't really know how to explain this but I tend to let the pen 'stick' to my face for more a grip and an even more precise application. But since the tip is short, I couldn't do that. But other than that, it's great. It dispenses just the right amount of product (think buildable instead of a messy glob). And it's handy if you were to want to bring it around for reapplication. And also, the tip is quite sturdy (think dried up calligraphy pen instead of free-moving calligraphy pen :D)

I've been loving the double-winged eyeline! It's hard to achieve when using a pencil eyeliner so I was eager to try it :D As you can see, the liner is dark enough. Actually it can be darker if I were to pile it on, but I was going for a more subtle look. It dries quickly too. Which means that someone as clumsy as I am won't accidentally blink her eye and have eyeliner all over her lids (believe me, I've experienced this countless times with my friends' eyeliner). It's easy to clean, not really waterproof though... Wiped off easily with eye-makeup remover.

I achieved my floral eyeliner look with this eyeliner! :D I got my inspiration from one of their advertisements where the model had this really pretty flowery eyeliner... Anyways, if you're wondering how I did it, I did the circle in the middle first. Then I added the two circles beside it... I think this would've been great in a photo shoot in a forest with the model wearing a white maxi and a flower tiara... Lol what am I thinking out loud? :P

Anyways, this eyeliner is available at all Guardian and Watsons store at RM23.90. There was a discount when I got it and it was at RM19.90. Do check it out if you're an eyeliner junkie (and if you haven't cause I think by this time everyone have tried this eyeliner out :P).

It's officially Saturday! How are you guys gonna spend your weekend? I'm gonna go for a massage with mm ♥♥♥... Need to unwind!!! :D And I'd most probably be busy with my presentation... Hmmm...

Why does it feels like you're far away from me when you're standing right beside me?

Who are you?

We talk, don't we? A lot. I'm always there for you, and you always say you're trying your best to be here for me but it seems like I don't open up that well. I denied that, but now that I think about it, it's true. I know basically everything about you, and you, nothing about me. I know you've tried to break into the windows of my life and failed. After years of friendship, would you even dare admit that you're a friend of mine?

I have a hard time opening up to people, and I admit that. I don't always get myself into trouble and/or screw my mind up but even if I do, I hardly ever tell anyone anything. Heck, I think my mum's the only person I ever tell my problems to. And I love it that way. I'm comforted by the fact that I don't have to worry about people spilling out my secrets/thoughts to everyone else.

Let's go back to the point. So recently I had a chance to talk to you (after weeks of not talking to each other), and I can't help but wonder... who are you? Why are there discrepancies in the stories that you're telling me? Am I thinking too much? Or are you a worthless liar? We've been through this before, haven't we? The fact that you don't actually need to lie to get my attention. Tell me, are you lying just so you could receive some of my sympathy and attention? Or are you telling the truth, and I'm a bad friend for doubting you?

"Don't forget I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."

I know. This hairstyle totally unleashed the tomboy in me. Lol. I've been told that I'm the kind of a girl that leans more towards the boyish side. Puh-lease. I beg to differ. I may not be the girliest girl you've ever met but I'm certainly not the boyish type of girl. I love clothes. I love makeup. I'm vain. I love dresses.

I USED to be boyish (think 10-12 years old). I remember running around with guys ever recess instead of hanging out with the girls. Thinking back on those days made me squirm lol. I was that crazy girl that always plays 'IT' with the boys while other girls were playing with dolls. Don't get me wrong, I had a collection of Barbie dolls (still have it :P), but it's not like I could play it with my brothers :D

Now, I'm happy to say that I've blossomed. Well, at least I hope I have.

What was I writing??? LOL Don't really know what I wrote pfft. Anyways, I'm going to KL (again!) next week. Urgh I wanna go to Cameron Highlands! Mm... Y U no bring me go? :P

Ignore my rants. Seriously, just ignore them. Have a nice day everybody! Oh guess what? It's 3pm and I still haven't had lunch cause my lazy-bummed brother is still sleeping.

I think it takes a certain quality to make someone a storyteller. Being a listener requires specific qualities too. To tell a great story, you'd need a great storyteller with a great listener. It'd be pointless if the storyteller tells an interesting story without an interesting tone; nor would a story work if the listener aren't able to understand the story that's being told.

Sometimes I wonder. What am I? Am I that person who depicts tales of the heart, or am I the one that listens to the fantasies told? I think I'm more of a listener when I'm around people. Other than rattling in my blog, I hardly ever tell my story to people. Not that I think anyone'd be interested in reading about it anyways :P I was told countless times how great of a listener I am. I'm proud of that. People don't always listen, you know?

Enough of the crap. Lol. Happy Labors' Day everyone! Or should I say Happy 'Day-Off'? :D
